Blog Post Three!

Well hello there fans. I’m back again with the third installation of the monthly blog posts! I will be honest, there’s not much to write about variety wise because of this whole Coronavirus stuff. It’s been two weeks since we have been in school and my whole schedule has changed. I personally love the change of pace for school with the online classes, as I feel a lot more relaxed during “school time”, and I get way more work done at home than at school. I never was able to focus doing homework not at home when I was in high school, and the same goes for university too. I’m super lucky to have my little work space in my bedroom where I can just sit and concentrate with no distraction or interruption. I feel my writing and other general schoolwork has improved since I took the time to make myself this little space where I can be creative. The time at home has also allowed me to take better care of myself physically. I find myself having a lot more time to stretch and tend to any nagging injuries that I may have. I also get to work out a LOT more than I did when school was still in; getting to go on runs and doing more cross fit type workouts has really helped me become more active in the day, but also more focused and active in my brain when it’s time to do work.

Although there are many positives for me that come with the self isolation process, I do miss my classmates and miss getting to have the normal routine of walking to school every day and prepping for the day. Having normal class structure is nice, and goofing around isn’t as easy to do in an online class. The friendship in our class is unlike I have ever witnessed in school, and I love how close all of us have gotten. I do hope that the virus gets under control, and the curve is flattened. I miss my friends and hope I can see them all again soon. I’m super excited for next year and being back in class making great memories and even better futures for ourselves. I’m super thankful for how well our classes and out teachers transitioned to an online format, as it made the jump for us students a super easy one. I am super interested to see where school ends up for us, and how the rest of the our time at SAIT this year turns out. In the meantime I’m gonna keep sitting in my room and play video games. Thanks so much for reading and catching up with me for the month of march! I only have one more month of writing this blog, but I may continue it into the summer as well as update my website, so make sure to keep checking back every so often to see what I’ve been up to!

cheers,

Cole
